Technologies
If you’ve got “technologies” in your name then that has to actually mean something. That’s why we actually design engineer and build everything in house in our own shop. An example of that is our brand new cube vacs which are designed to go in the back of cube vans. They are half steel and half aluminum. We keep them as light as possible and use steel where strength is critical. Sometimes steel is better to use and sometimes aluminum depending on the application. Another great example of our in house design and engineering is our new H2. This is a new duct truck design that is coming out and will be showcased at the Las Vegas convention Sept 2015. Again, the aluminum is used wherever possible to reduce weight, and steel where necessary. At Hypervac we believe it is important to use a balance of both to build a good product. Aluminum has been around for hundreds of years and they have been making airplanes and fire trucks out of it for a long time. There is no reason to shy away from it – it doesn’t rust and it’s super light.
